2020 New Year KAL - INDIGO FROST

Knit Along With Us . . .

The Pattern . . .

Indigo Frost by Isabell Kraemer is a great little capelet/poncho worked seamlessly from the top down, with a loose turtle neck and an easy 4 Colour-Slip-Stitch pattern band on the yoke. It features eyelets on the body, and cute, deep 2x1 ribbings for the neck and the bottom edge. It’s shorter length make this capelet a modern take on a classic transitional fashion piece.

The Indigo Frost project has several wonderful topics to explore:

  • Circular knitting
  • Top Down construction
  • Colour choices - to make effective combinations
  • Short row shaping to make the back sit even
  • Mosaic colour work - an easy and approachable way of adding colour where you work only one colour at a time!
  • Simple Lace - Eyelets that are evenly spaced

Our 2020 New Year KAL kicks off January 26th with a special Cast-On party!
