Sundays, November 22 & 29; 11:00am-1:00pm

Turning fluff into string is an addictive and fabulous form of fibre fun! Come on in to learn about the wonders of fibre and get started on making your very own yarn.

In the frist class we'll get you spinning your own knitable yarn with a top whorl spindle! Learn how to work with processed fiber and spin singles! You will then take the spindle home and spin for a week before we return and review our skills.

The next week, we will review, and learn the new skill of plying yarn and the finishing techniques of yarn.

No previous spinning experience needed. That's right you don't need any skills at knitting to learn how to make yarn.

Warning: we are not kidding about the addictive part. And the best part... you can take your drop spindle anywhere and spin away... 'tis very portable and awe-inspiring.
